vector vs. bitmapcommon vector formats vector images are made up of many individual, scalable objects. these objects are defined by mathematical equations rather than pixels, so they always render at the highest quality. objects may consist of lines, curves, and shapes with editable attributes such as color, fill, and outline. common bitmap formats bitmap images (also known as raster images) are made up of pixels in a grid. pixels are picture elements; tiny dots of individual color that make up what you see on your screen. all these tiny dots of color come together to form the images you see. need help?please email us at info@jrdchina.com |
design:
electronic we accepts windows based files that are in a vector format. for example, adobe illustrator 8.0 or higher. files can be e-mailed to info@jrdchina.com . we can also accept: cd's and 3 1/2 floppies. all electronic media files are required to be accompanied with a color printout of the final artwork along with copies in black and white of the individual logos. this may be provided as a computer generated proof or simply sketched by hand with color pencils or crayons. the design factory has an extensive font library, however to ensure an exact match all fonts must be converted to curves
